What is joeshopping.com?

Joeshopping.com is basically a combination of comparison shopping (like amazon.com or shopping.com), crossed with the best parts of various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, etc.). Users can post photos of themselves with their newest outfits, add videos of them trying to take an action figure out of its packaging despite all those twisty ties, write a product review of the millions of products in our database, write a blog post about their fondest birthday presents, share their latest shopping adventure, etc. In short, it's a hefty social network themed around shopping. 

Review:
As soon as I signed up, I had several people adding me as a friend and asking if I needed any help with shopping tips. I love that so many people on it knew where to find the best deals for several different items. You can find a section for hot deals, as well as a section to read/post product reviews. Very helpful during the holiday season, when you are trying to find the right gift for someone.

I love the ease at which I could find everything I wanted. Nothing confusing and not an overcrowded homepage, which I HATE on some sites. Very simplistic, in a good way.

Users can also earn badges that are unlocked after a certain amount of activity on the site. Examples of these (adorable) badges look like this:

Joeshopping.com is new, but I definitely see it growing. It is super easy to use and seems to have a great group of people working behind the scenes, as well as a friendly community that has already signed up for it.

That simple! This contest is open to readers in the US and Canada.

This contest will run until December 16th. After that a winner will be chosen using a random number generator over at random.org. The winner will be the person with the comment of the corresponding number. I will then contact the person via the email left in your comments. If no answer is received in 48 hours a new winner will be chosen.
