Donation Update!

So, if you saw last week's post, I am selling prints to help Oklahoma. So far, I've sold one print, which isn't exactly a firestorm, but hey, it is ten dollars that is now going to the food bank. To show that I am following through with my pledge, I thought I would add a screen cap to detail the donations (and if any more come in, I will do the same). Here is the ten dollar donation:

Congrats and a Print for Charity

Congrats to Erin who won the 5x7 from The Silver Spider! Just a note, that from now until the end of June, I will be donating ten dollars from any sale of this print to a food bank in OK to help with recovery efforts from the tornado that hit May 20th. This is the print:

So far, one print has been sold, guaranteeing a ten dollar donation. Hopefully more will follow! Check back on Fridays for weekly updates on further sales and thanks again to all who entered the 5x7 giveaway.

On Track and News About a Giveaway!

Remember when I did that little post about my three New Year's resolutions? I am 1/3 complete!

The Silver Spider is officially open and it is a place where I sell my jewelry, which is mostly comprised of either vintage or broken pieces that I've upcycled into new treasures. Best part? I am trying to keep every piece in my store under 15 dollars! You can buy some very cool items for under 10 dollars, including shipping.

Here are some items you can find now:

Not everything in the store will be upcycled but I really love the idea of taking things you might throw away and turning them into new pieces for others to enjoy. It goes along with the whole loving vintage thing, I suppose.
